Eternity Counselling Service is a compassionate, professional counselling service based in Urangan. As a highly experienced and dedicated ‘Health Professional’ with a strong background in international humanitarian work incorporating mental health and considerable trans-cultural experience, it is with great keenness that I apply for the above position. As evidenced within my CV my background is comparable to the skills, knowledge and experience required for this position. I hold an undergraduate degree in nursing and my post graduate qualifications include Credentialed Mental Health together with a Masters of Public Health; Mental Health Law and Human Rights and a Diploma in Counselling’ whereby I am currently registered including supervision to practise in Australia.
Key strengths include my extensive background across a vast number of disciplines thus underlining my experience whilst at the same time highlights the profound need for the mental health aspect of such work with colleagues and clients alike. By incorporating a strong cultural awareness and expertise I empower those I encounter and as a consequence enriches my assessing, supporting, monitoring, referring, training and organizing skills. Other relevant attributes include strong leadership, solid organisational, time management and financial skills, computer and data-base skills, exceptional oral and written communication capabilities, an ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team and/or with a wide array of individuals and organisations. Furthermore, I offer strong professional values and integrity whilst committing to quality excellence and ongoing professional development.
Hence I take this opportunity after so many years to remain home with family and friends in Australia. While at the same time make a positive contribution to my own community in Hervey Bay by utilizing my gained expertise and knowledge thus supporting the needs of those suffering with Mental Illness.
